Jake has returned to life and made it back to school at lunch today (let him sleep in for a little extra rest). Both E-ball and I felt sick (figuratively, not physically) after watching Holiday and the Cards freaking lose last night in the 9th. Both of us were stunned and talked little of it the rest of the night (like it didn't happen). Ian says their season is over, but I still believe...
Going to bundle up tight this evening and take in another BHS football game. Don't really expect too many others in attendance, but who knows.
Will catch the Ozarks Conference XC meet tomorrow at Lake Springfield. Will get a chance to watch Thater and Chapman go at it, root on Jake's Lebanon friends (who are flying), and get our first look at West Plains (returning State Champs and in our district - suck!). Jake is going down with some teammates and I'll probably have Deb and Ian drop me off while they do their own thing.
Heading out in a little bit for a chilly/windy ride. Figure I'll get in around 1:30hrs on the road.
