Friday Evening Fun

Got home from the J O B and Deb had a nice dinner spread laid out on the back patio. The weather was so nice no one wanted to be indoors. Afterwards I finished up some of the earlier day's yard maintenance.


Jake hung out with Ian for the evening as Deb and I hit the tandem for a couple hour ride with the Kemps. Cool evening, no breeze, and no time constraints; this was going to be fun. We headed out west of Bolivar and ended up with a great cruise over to Stockton Lake and back (a little over 2hrs). Everyone rode great on what is a decently challenging course. Upon arriving back in Bolivar we decided to add a little side trip to 3Gs (frozen custard place) for a little of the good stuff (see pic to the right). W&M are tons of fun to be around and hopefully this will become a regular event. Below are a couple goofball clips (but aren't they all) from this evening's ride:




As we pulled up to the house Jake was loading up Ian and he was treating his little bro to Dairy Queen (interesting how great minds think a like). The boys got back home and both headed to bed pretty quick as the busy week had caught up to them.
